Faux Terra-Cotta Finishes

Architectural terracotta was popular from the 1880’s-1930’s, with finishes ranging from various stone imitations to bright polychrome. As buildings clad in these units age, the desire to reproduce these finishes and ornamental casts in more cost-effective and timely methods has brought the industry to molding and finishing GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) units to replace damaged terracotta.

Our faux terracotta finishes use high quality mineral paints and stains to match new or surrounding units with your target sample in color, activity, and sheen. These finishes chemically bond with their substrate and as such are long lasting and will never peel. While these finishes were designed for GRFC, they can be applied to any surface of your choosing.
